How to play World Word

World Word is a global word frequency game and a social word game alternative for fans of Wordle-style feedback. Submit any valid word or short phrase, see it on the live leaderboard, and share your rank with friends.

Rules

  1. Choose Word or Phrase mode. Words are A–Z only (max 50). Phrases are 2–8 real English words (max 80).
  2. Words pass a dictionary check. Phrases also pass a smart sense check that blocks gibberish and empty filler wording, then show animated tiles with times said and global rank.
  3. The top 50 entries worldwide appear on the leaderboard, updating every 30 seconds or when you refresh.
  4. Use Share on your result to post emoji tiles, rank, and a link with UTM tracking.

Daily challenge & streaks

There is no single “word of the day” to guess. You can still play it as a daily word game: submit once per calendar day and build a streak shown on your result card. Try to pick words that climb the board — or niche words only you would think of.
